If it's an open sore and it hurts to touch it or to get food on it, it's a cold sore. See your chemist or doctor for treatment, the sooner the better.
it may be. especially if you've had sexual contact in that area recently such as oral sex and/or kissing. it may be a pimple if you just havent been washing your face regularly or have been eating lots of greasy foods and sugary drinks. try using a facial cleanser on it to see if that helps bring it to a head so it can be popped. if that doesnt happen and nothing's changed then it may be a cold sore so see a doctor asap to make sure. either way, you should know what it is within a week because it will just get worse or go away. you may still want to get tested for herpes to prevent it from happening again.

Nope, this happened to me about a month ago. Just leave it alone and it will go down in about a week. It was really hard for me to not mess with it but im glad I did. It turned out to just be a blackhead, but it sure looked like it was gonna be a cold sore!

One of my friends, put foundation over it. It made them lighter. But you might want to wear a lip gloss over top of it. I dont know thats what she did.
One trick is to get clear,white,or light pink lip gloss.They should make you lips appear lighter than they are.Lipstick would be even more better because its thick and most likely it won't run off your lips like lip gloss.
Try a beige toned lip gloss like MAC's lipglass

My lips are red, kinda numb, and puffed out because I was outside in the snow for like 6 hours this weekend? I've been using this Carmex stuff, but its barely making a difference as far as I can see. What would you recommend to get rid of this fast?How to cure chapped lips?
1. Drink plenty of water to keep your lips look soft. Dehydration can cause dryness of lips.





2. Don't lick your lips as it will make your lips more dry. Licking lips do not moisturize them.





3. Dip your toothbrush in hot water and rub on your lips. It will remove the dead cells from lips.





4. While going out always wear lip balm that has an SPF of 15 or higher.





5. Apply petroleum jelly on your lips frequently.





6. Avoid using lipsticks that can dry out your lips.

Angelina Jolie would be best to answer this one.Carmex is good but so is that little jar that just came out to the market called ';Lip Therapy';from max factor and is a cure for even Angelinas chapped fish lips and it works wonders.
Blistex works. The white tube that you squeeze it out of, not the flavored stick ones. That's what I always use when my lips are really chapped and it works pretty fast! Faster than carmex or anything else I've tried. Hope this works!
some milk cream with glycerine works well overnight on lips


if u have boric acid powder add a pinch to some vaseline and apply. leave overnight.


drink plenty of water and no running the tongue over ur lips.
paw paw cream. works wonders - i usually leave a tonne on over night and it wirks on everything not just ur lips -

does it kind of have a tingling feeling, if so you might have some sort of allergic reaction to apples or any other type of food. try and go to a doctor and ask them what is the problem, especially if it happens every time you eat an apple. it might cause an infection or swelling to occur

Sounds like an allergic reaction. You can try cooking/baking it first and you probably WONT have a reaction. (Learned that one when I was a teen and medical insurance made me take allergy/asthma classes. lol)

just buy Dream Matte mouse foundation , rub it on ur lips and its stays all day its hot . i do it ,like always.
You probably want to buy lipstick instead of using foundation on them.





I used to use foundation on my lips to get that pale look, but it dried them out.





Then I bought MAC's lipstick in Myth. It was perfect. Obviously more expensive, but it didn't dry my lips out.
