Why are lips red after making out?

I've been wondering, after making out with my boyfriend (or anyone making out with anyone, lol) why do the lips appear much redder? It's strange. (:Why are lips red after making out?
When you're making out, usually it's passionate or whatever and you're going crazy, haha. When you're kissing passionately, there's more pressure than usual on your lips so they get red. Also sometimes when you're kissing your boyfriend might suck on your lips a little which causes them to get more red.Why are lips red after making out?
Because, when you're making out, you're turned on and the blood rushes to those areas. (*Down there*, your lips)

And of course, when the blood rushes to your lips, they turn redder. =]

Or maybe he's getting some of your lipstick. Lol, probably the first one. ;]
Touching them roughly causes increased blood flow, so they look redder. Thats why some people bite their lips before taking pictures and such, ahha.
Blood flow?

lol.

Not a clue.

:]
why would your skin turn red if you rubbed it...
