Chapstick and do lips get tanned?

Firstly, do your lips get tanned? As in a darker shade from the sun?


If yes, if I put chapstick on my lips, will that prevent my lips from getting tanned?

lips don't get tanned from sun or anything. the only thing that it does it chap them. (putting water on them or lcking them after eating or something then reveiling them to the sun will dry them out causeing chap libs). i would sugest using pepermint lipbalm





i found out that using it, you can feel it working. at first you will think it burns your lips but it really is just so cold. it really helps. if you peel skin off your lips then put the lip balm on you can feel it working on the spot.Chapstick and do lips get tanned?
No, the chapstick won't help, but there are sunscreens for your lips. Clinique has one for your lips and you can also put it on your eyelids-which also really hurts if you get burned there.

well they do change color if they get burned! lol! but it hurts really bad. and it looks weird because the outer part of the lips get darker. it kinda looks like lip liner! i wouldn't advise it. so it would be best if u wear chapstick!

I don't know if they get darker, but they can become damaged from too much sun. This can cause the lips to peel.





ELF makes a great lip gloss with SPF 15. You can order it online or find it at select K-Marts.
No your lips do not tan, they just become chapped and dried out. Thus, they have sun block for your lips.
Not sure if they actually get tanned, but they definately get burnt!!! If your chapstick has an SPF in it, that would do the trick.

lips dont get tan, they can get burned, so you should put chapstick with spf on whenever you go in the sun.

Uhm well ur lips dont exactly tan but they can get blisters. so keep puting on cahapstick when you go to the beach!
