Has anyone got a good natural cure for dry chapped lips?

chap stickHas anyone got a good natural cure for dry chapped lips?
1)never lick you lips cuz it just gets worse,

2)putting vaseline on too often isnt good because it wont give air to the lips to heal properly

3)if they get flaky then u can rub with a wet towel to rub of skin

best thing 2 do is get somthing like blistex rather then vaseline as this will cure it more rather then just protect it.Has anyone got a good natural cure for dry chapped lips?
buy burts bees!
Use a humidifier - heaters dry out the air %26amp; you need to replace it. This is a cure for dry, itchy winter skin too! Just run one 24/7 this time of year- you'll notice the difference within a day. Be sure %26amp; drink plenty of fluids which also helps.
lick them with ur tongue lol
Vaseline. It works wonders!
I put some burts bees chapstick on every morning and night. Bag balm's good if your lips are reallllllllly chapped, though. Just put a little on before you go to bed. Hope that helps!
Neroli and teatree oil in a base cream
Everyone has given you answers about how to treat your lips once they are chapped, but no one mentioned WHY they are chapped. A deficiency in B vitamins and/or zinc is the obvious reason. Specifically B2 and biotin. If you supplement with a good B-complex for a few weeks -- take them in the morning and at noon -- you'll see the chapped lips go away quickly.
vaseline / petroleum jelly is the best and cheapest for me
kissing my wetty warm lips!
no remedies here, but Blistex Intensive Moisturiser is the best stuff actually they have some tips on their website too and a pic of the product http://www.blistex.co.uk/BlistexChapped-鈥?/a>

Prevention is better than cure. To avoid chapped lips or cracked lips always wear a lip balm and reapply often, especially after eating or drinking.

Avoid hot, spicy and salty foods.

Drink lots of fluids to keep your body鈥檚 hydration levels high, even in winter.

When walking in the cold or wind wrap a scarf around the lower part of your face for extra protection.

Avoid repetitive lip biting or sucking.
vasolene /olive oil
