Does locking lips with a HIV positive person get you infected?

It's certainly possible, but not likely. Deep kissing is a much greater risk.Does locking lips with a HIV positive person get you infected?
locking as in french kissing? the amounts in saliva are very minimal but if they have bitten their tongue, lip have a sore inside their mouth and/or you do the changes are greater. pecking someone on the lip is fine--- even smooshing them together is fine lol. but sometimes with hiv the immune system is lower so getting other std's is a bit easier so while you may not get hiv, coldsores/herpes, mono other saliva transmitted diseases can be contracted. Kissing is very intimate and sorry to say its 2009 and things will only get worse. so save yur body and ur lips for someone you love unconditionally and trust then concerns such as your question wont matter.Does locking lips with a HIV positive person get you infected?
If it did I would have been infected 12 years ago. No it does not. Kissing, even french kissing will not infect you. HIV is found in blood, semen, vaginal fluid and breast milk. We tell people in our clinic you would have to consume 10 gallons of saliva to become infected. Not very likely.
Deep throat kissing (kissing that may produce bumps and blood) are a risk behavior for spreading HIV/AIDS though there are only a hand full of cases that can actually be associated with this type of risk behavior. It is not as big a risk as unprotected sex but it does have it's risks.
If the person has an open sore on his/Her mouth and you do 2 then yes it is possible to get it that way. But it is highly unlikely!
they would have to put 5 gallons of spit in your mouth at once f ur kssong someone wth 5 gallons of spt leakng from there mouth yall dnt need to be kissng lol
You'd have to drink about a gallon of their saliva to get it.
