Okay, this stuff works so well. Its a little pricey but it saved my little girls lips! 1. Find a Mary Kay outlet, or salesperson. 2 Ask them for Satin Lips lip mask, and balm. The lip mask Will shred away all dead lip particles and totally moisturizer your child's lips, after you wipe it off it feels like regular lips so they cant lick it off! The lip balm is optional for extra protection! What can I use (OTC or home remedy) for a very dry lips on a 3陆 years old boy?
i recommend chapstick...its cheap and simple and its easy to carry around. they make medicated ones with vitamin e and aloe and stuff
Vaseline.
vaseline
carmex
vaseline!
Lansinoh is good, you will find it in the breastfeeding section of your drugstore. It's pure lanolin so is non toxic. I would stay away from Vasoline as it's petroleum based - yuck!
He is actually not to young for Chapstick, The Dr. told my best friend that she could start using it for her son when was 2 and he said that Continuously drinking WATER regularly (not other liquids, water specifically) also keeps lips hydrated and assist in the prevention of dry %26amp; Cracked lips. He told her that Vaseline has a way of leaving some sort of line on the lips over long periods of continued use and that Water has a way of Hydrating like nothing else!

So I would try water and Chapstick styled lip balms together.
vaseline.... or witch hazel.... best to put on when he goes to bed at night so he doesnt lick it off right away.....

even hand lotion will help.... so will vitamin a%26amp;d ointment..... or the udder cream stuff..... most anything you used for diaperrash... though stay away from that desitin stuff....... its too hard to get off....
Vaseline
aquaphor
any OTC chap stick like product will work. Vaseline is very effective, but not very appealing because he might not like the taste. if he will use vaseline or carmex, great. if not try getting some sort of flavored product, it may take linger but at least he won't wipe it off. Just make sure he doesn't eat a whole tube of whatever you give him.
One of the safest is Aquaphor Healing Ointment. It's alot like vaseline but with faster healing properties. It comes in a tube or a tub, but just make sure it has the ';healing ointment'; on it.

I've got 3 kids and it works great.
