Why do your lips and hands get so dry when you have poison oak?

the rash is sucking all of the moisture out of your skin, which is something you can't help. Just be careful what types of lotions/creams you are using to moisturize on a rash like poison oak.Why do your lips and hands get so dry when you have poison oak?
The poison oak contains a severe irritant/allergen called urushiol. When this gets on your skin, you will experience inflammation and itching. So you scratch the irritation and cause the inner layers of skin to get exposed to the air drying out the skin and worsening the irritation. Your skin loses enough water that you experience chapping. Why do your lips and hands get so dry when you have poison oak?
Urushiol oil is in poison oak. About half of all humans have a severe allergic reaction from urushiol. Your probably getting the first signs of poison oak. Its going to get worse. Trust me its going to get worse.
I think the poison takes out all of the water, oil, or moister
'Cause they're poisonous?
it takes oil out of your skin
