For my face (including lips) I prefer just using my own sugar scrub. I mix a bit of sugar with lotion, baby oil or sometimes just water and rub it on, then rinse and apply a good moisturizer.
For me, it works better than any product I can buy.
neutrogena exfoliating lip treatment or balm. Works great while giving your lips a shiny tint.
I use a toothbrush that is soft--I usually buy children's toothbrushes just for this purpose. And hold it under hot water for a few minutes. That softens it even more. I go over my lips lightly in little circles, rinse, and pat dry. Then I use just plain old vasaline to keep them moisturized.
a washcloth day and night
table sugar and a teeny bit of water makes a great scrub.
put on vaqselin and let set now after a coupl of minutes just place a napkin or bounty inside and pull then use a gloss or a emoliant or evn anohte coat of vaseline olde tricks are best
There are a couple of things that you can do. 1) Apply Vaseline to your lips, wait about a minute, then take a hand towel and rub your lips in a circular motion to remove the dead skin. 2) Use a soft bristle tooth brush 3) Use a little facial scrub on your lips. Rub gently and wipe off with a damp hand towel.
To keep lips moist, use RoseBuds lip salve...love that stuff. You can buy it at Sephora for like $6... or you can buy a tube of Aquaphor at a drugstore. Its about $6 and it keeps your lips smooth.
Use a toothbrush (no toothpaste) and gently brush your lips. Vaseline works really well. I use chapstick ALL DAY LONG and have never had a flake of dryness on my lips.
table salt or sugar mixed w/ Vaseline
use a toothbrush, it makes your lips feel great ;)
Do NOT buy Philosophy's Kiss Me. It doesn't work and is expensive ($15.00 for a tiny tube). If you don't want to make your own with olive oil and some sugar, you might try The Lip Scrub. Its website is www.thelipscrub.com . I haven't used the product, but it's gotten some good reviews in several magazines (including Self).
