Burt's Bees Lip Balm. There is nothing in the world to beat it.
http://www.burtsbees.com/natural-product鈥?/a>What is the best thing you can put on your lips to make them soft?
1. Drink water.
2. Keep a Carmex in your purse, car, school bag, or at work. Apply whenever you think about it.
* Shop around and try different types. Burt's Bees and Carmex are GREAT. Also, Alba makes some nice chap sticks as well. Don't use Soft Lips or the medicated chapsticks because they have ingredients in them that actually dry out lips more, so you apply more product, which dries out lips more, so you apply more product...(see where I'm going with this?)
3. Exfoilate the dead, dry skin on your lips daily. There are a number of ways to do this. The cheapest and most effective way is to use sugar. (salt works too, but if you chew on your lips, please don't put salt on an open wound!) Moisten lips, apply sugar with your ring finger and move in tiny circles using a light touch. (your skin cells are diamond-shaped, so if you just throw it on and wipe lips back and forth it's not really going to do anything.) Wipe clean. APPLY LIP BALM AFTER! (*So* important!) OR gently brush them with a tooth brush and a dab of Vaseline. (Not the same toothbrush as you use to brush your teeth) OR The Body Shop makes a product called Lip Scuff in a tube like a lipstick. This is nice for on-the-go and it's got a moisturizing ingredient as well.
* Apply a lip balm at bedtime.
4. Note: When you apply lip balm, don't just throw it on your lips and smack and go. Take your time. Use your ring finger, dab the product on and move in tiny circles using a light touch. After you have applied it like so, your lips should feel rejuvenated and moistened. Repeat daily for healthy kissable lips!
Once a week or so use an old toothbrush and gently ''buff'' the dead skin from your lips then apply a BALM not a gloss. Avoid nibbling your lips even if you have annoying bits of skin you want to pull off!
Burt's Bees is good if you want expensive but if you want an alternative with real bees wax and a lemony scent try Lush's Lip Service Balm. I think it's 拢3-4.
Hope this helps :)
use Softlips! its a lip moisturizer and isn't expensive, it's only about 拢2 from Boots
you can get it in different flavours and some have a tint of colour
its got SPF suncream protection as well
hey buy a childrens toothbrush, and just rub it on your lips every night before bed this gets all the dry skin off them, then try using vaseling and see the difference :) x
